Responsibility...Accept It!

Today, I accept responsiblity for me. Period. Weight Watchers, here I come. What is it about losing weight that is so hard? Why hold on to the baggage? That wasn't meant to be funny, but if you found it amusing...I'm glad I could make your day.

I probably will no go to an actual meeting until Wednesay, so until then I'm going to try to do it solo. It's 3 days...honestly, there would be serious issues if I can't do this for three days, right?

Anyone interested in a challenge? Anyone even reading this blog that needs to join a weight loss challenge? I'm all ears!! For right now, I'd like to pose the question, what are your most favorite point friendly, easy to prep lunches and snacks?

I got two responses on painting the hutch, one yes, the other no. I'm really leaning towards painting it, but that project is a ways off. So, it will stay in its current state for a while.

Later,
Amanda

Hello Amanda,

Not sure if you got my email... if not, can you please contact me with your address at:

jessica@honoringservice.com

I hope to email the CD out tomorrow.

Take care. May God bless your efforts to be consistent with Weight Watchers.

I'm not sure how these snack ideas would rate on the point system, but here are a few favorites of mine:

*fuji apple slices
*plain yogurt w/ a small amount of honey stirred in, plus a little homemade granola sprinkled on top
*Berries or or sliced banana with homemade whipped cream
*raw or dry roaasted almonds (small amount can be quite filling!)
*slice of toast with peanut butter
*cashew chocolate smoothie. If you did not see that post, it is listed under the "smoothies" label on the sidebar of our blog.

All of Jessica's were my favorites, too. My hubby loved the Weight Watchers snack cakes! OOOH! Not as much a snack as dessert, but...have you tried "Skinny Cows?" I don't know if they have it "back east" (I'm from Florida, we're Publix fans from way back) but it's ice cream! They have ice cream sandwiches to die for, HUGE, and they're 2 points each! I'm a big fan of the low-points soups, too. With good, whole-grain crackers and pb, you're in bid-ness! I adore the flavored mini rice cakes, too! Quaker, I believe. They have caramel and some other yummy flavors--a nice baggy-ful seems to be only 1 or 2 points. They had non-sweet flavors, too, like ranch.
OH! Lord, girl! What about low-fat or non-fat chocolate pudding with a little non-fat whipped cream and a tiny sprinkle of nuts on top?? That was my dessert MANY nights! Ok, I'm doing desserts here...oops! You know what I'm craving!!
